This weekend, Larry Fitzgerald is headed to the Hall of Fame. As a Cardinals fan, heā€™s my favorite because of the kind of man he showed himself to be year after year.

A few things Iā€™ve always admired about Larry:

ā€¢ Humility. He never acted like he was bigger than the game.
ā€¢ Character. No drama. No trash talk. No off-the-field nonsense. Just a true professional.

ā€¢ Work ethic. Every game looked like he was giving everything he had.

ā€¢ Loyalty. He couldā€™ve left Arizona to chase a ring, but he stayed and he never quit on this city.

ā€¢ Leadership. He led by example and earned the respect of teammates, coaches, opponents, and fans.

ā€¢ Consistency. You always knew exactly what you were going to get from Larry.

When I think back, I remember him taking over the 2008 playoff run, the three-touchdown game against the Eagles that sent us to the Super Bowl, the long touchdown against the Steelers that had all of Arizona believing, and that unforgettable overtime catch-and-run against the Packers.

Those are incredible football memories.

But years from now, I donā€™t think thatā€™s what Iā€™ll remember most.
Iā€™ll remember the way he carried himself.

For me, this is Larry Fitzgeraldā€™s real legacy. One of the greatest players to ever wear an NFL uniform, but an even better example of humility, class, loyalty, and character.

Congratulations on an incredibly well-deserved Hall of Fame induction, Larry.

Arizona has been proud to call you one of our own.

Stopped by the grand opening of the new Thai Chili 2go in Buckeye ā€” their 20th location in Arizona!

I had the chance to meet the founder and owner, Akshat ā€œAksā€ Sethi, who was working behind the counter greeting customers. We talked about how he took the fast-casual idea that Chipotle created and applied it to authentic Thai food.

I tried the Pad P**g Pao Rice Bowl with chicken at the Hot spice level, and it was awesome. Great flavor and the perfect amount of heat.

I asked Aks what his favorite menu item was, and without hesitation he said the Yellow Curry. Thatā€™s definitely what Iā€™m trying next.

There a lot of growth out here and its pretty cool seeing new businesses like this coming to Buckeye.

Call me ā€œold-fashioned," but Iā€™m seeing more and more lenders and agents in Phoenix using AI to automate buying and selling homes. And while I appreciate what technology can do, there's just some things AI should never replace.

Like what happens when you call a business.

An actual person should answer the phone. Not a bot asking you to "listen to the menu options, as they may have changed, so they can direct your call." šŸ˜‰

At least, that's what I think.

Which is why Iā€™m making this PSA: when you call (602) 705-9835, you wonā€™t get a bot.

Youā€™ll get me.

A real person, ready to pick up the phone and help.

Because in a world moving more and more towards automation and advancing technology, I believe some things should stay the same. Like talking to an actual person when you call a business.
