Elecia, a dedicated school nurse with the Alhambra School District, has been an invaluable partner in helping us bring health and wellness resources to local families. Through the strong collaboration between our Medicaid team and Alhambra School District, we have hosted two successful health fairs, and Elecia has been at the heart of it all.

Because of her unwavering commitment to students, families, and the community she serves, we knew it was time to give back.

Between work, responsibilities, and everything life throws our way, it's easy to forget the importance of slowing down.

This Sunday, we joined the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field for Yoga on the Field, sponsored by AZ Blue, and it was the perfect opportunity to take a breath, reset, and focus on being present in the moment.

Prioritizing your well-being doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's as simple as setting aside time to move, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

Through this partnership, 20 students from the Academies of the Southwest Valley were recognized for their excellence in health care studies and awarded the opportunity to enroll in dual enrollment courses at ASU during their junior and senior years.

This experience allows students to earn college credit while gaining valuable insights into the health care field, giving them a head start on their educational and career journeys.

As rising school supply costs continue to impact families, we're here to support students and strengthen communities across Arizona. 💙

More than 100 AZ Blue employees and family members volunteered alongside Valley of the Sun United Way and The Foster Alliance to prepare 1,300 backpacks for Arizona students. Volunteers also created encouragement crafts for students and teachers and assembled teacher appreciation gifts.

These backpacks are now in the hands of students and families across Pima and Cochise counties, helping ease the burden of rising school supply costs and ensuring students are ready for a successful school year.

We had an amazing time giving back with the Jessie Rees Foundation! 🎉

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to stuff, seal, and package JoyJars for children courageously battling cancer. From start to finish, the event was filled with teamwork, laughter, and a shared commitment to bringing joy to kids and families who need it most. 🫶

As our teams travel across Arizona supporting back-to-school events, we recently visited Bowie for a community health fair, helping families prepare for the year ahead with essential resources and services.

While there, we had the privilege of surprising Miss Martha, who teaches a combined 3rd and 4th grade class at Bowie Elementary. 💙 With school starting next week, we helped fulfill her classroom wish list with chairs, reading cushions, fidget tools, and gift cards to complete her vision for a welcoming learning environment.

Seeing her reaction reminded us that when we support teachers, we support every student they inspire. 🎒✨
