Last week, we joined our friends at the City of Tucson for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Every step taken represented hope, support, and a shared commitment to the millions of individuals, families, and caregivers impacted by Alzheimer’s disease. It was inspiring to come together with community members dedicated to raising awareness and advancing the fight for a future without this disease.

Last week, we had the opportunity to join the Graham County community for a day of connection, service, and celebration.

Our team participated in the parade, spent time with community members, and surprised Our Neighbors Farm & Pantry with a $5,000 donation to support their mission of helping local families access nutritious food. We also rolled up our sleeves to help stock the pantry shelves.

Together, these efforts help strengthen the community and support neighbors in need.

Last week, our team came together to assemble hygiene bags for families attending AZ Blue Community Health Fairs across Arizona. Filled with essential everyday items, these bags help support the health and well-being of community members while providing resources that can make a meaningful difference.

It's a simple act of service that helps us connect with and support Arizona families where they are.

💗 This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we asked our employees a simple question: Who do you wear pink for?

Some shared loved ones. Some shared survivors who inspired them. Others wore pink in support of everyone impacted by breast cancer.

Every answer was a reminder that this disease touches so many lives, and that awareness, support, and early detection matter.

As we honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and stand with those currently facing breast cancer, let's continue encouraging one another to prioritize our health.

Last week, AZ Blue Health Choice, the Medicaid team, partnered with Roosevelt School District and other community organizations to support a community food distribution event serving local families.

Together, we helped provide food and resources to 188 families, impacting 992 individuals throughout the community. Events like these demonstrate the power of partnership in helping connect families to essential resources and support.

We are grateful for the opportunity to spend the day connecting, learning, and engaging in meaningful conversations with tribal leaders, partners, healthcare professionals, and community members from across Arizona. From discussions on maternal and child health and early childhood outcomes to behavioral health, Indigenous health equity, and culturally grounded approaches to wellness, the summit highlighted the importance of collaboration in creating healthier communities.
