Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 3rd Annual Menstrual Hygiene Day Event with No More Secrets MBS, Inc.

We spent the afternoon learning, connecting, and having important conversations about menstrual health and wellness. From health resources and screenings to menstrual hygiene giveaways, this event reflected the power of community coming together to improve access, reduce stigma and support wellness for all.

Jefferson Health Plans proudly hosted our very first Day of Caring, created and organized by our Community Engagement team, bringing together nearly 50 employee volunteers for a day dedicated to service across our communities.

Our teams rolled up their sleeves to support impactful organizations including

MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance), Philabundance, Share Food Program, Salvation Army Kroc Center Philadelphia and Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania

This day reflected our shared purpose in action — strengthening communities, supporting neighbors in need, and making a meaningful difference together.

Thank you to all of our volunteers and community partners who helped make this inaugural event such a success.

Jefferson Health Plans and the Jefferson Collaborative for Health Equity were proud to partner with the School District of Philadelphia and Athlete Health Organization (AHO) to support student-athletes through sports performance screenings and PIAA physicals. 💙

We’re also grateful to the students from Thomas Jefferson University's Sidney Kimmel Medical College and College of Nursing who volunteered alongside our colleagues to help keep young athletes healthy, safe, and ready for the season ahead! 🙌

On Friday, April 24, Jefferson Health Plans partnered with ACHIEVEability for its annual Impact Day in West Philadelphia—a powerful day of service and celebration of community. More than 700 volunteers came together to beautify the neighborhood, including painting and refreshing local home porches through the Porches That Pop project.

These improvements help create safer, greener spaces and reflect our ongoing commitment to strengthening the communities we serve—especially just blocks from our West Philadelphia Community Wellness Center. We’re grateful to ACHIEVEability for their year‑round work supporting families and to every volunteer who helped make this day such a success.
