Temple Medical Office reminders: These are not new policies. This is just a reminder as the amount of walk-ins has increased due to the Temple ReadyCare closures. The Temple Medical Office is not an Urgent Care. If you need Urgent Care services that the Temple Medical Office is unable to provide you can go to any Jefferson Urgent Care or any in network Urgent Care that can perform the services you need. Please note, not all Urgent Care centers perform x-rays. We recommend you call any Urgent Care before arriving if you need a service beyond treating a minor illness to check they have the proper equipment.

An out-of-pocket maximum is the absolute highest amount you COULD pay for covered in-network health care services in a single policy year. This is NOT an amount that you MUST pay ! Since our members have limited out of pocket medical costs to begin with (usually just copays), it is rare to reach the in-network out-of-pocket max, most members pay significantly less !

The out-of-network out-of-pocket max also includes deductibles and co-insurance .

It is important to know the difference between PCPs, Urgent Care Centers and the Emergency Room. Please note, the Temple Medical Office at the LEHB Health and Wellness Center is NOT an Urgent Care. Although they take walk-ins for sick visits, there is no x-ray machine and stitches cannot be performed here.
