ATTENTION PENNSYLVANIA DRIVERS

A new Distracted Driving Law goes into effect starting June 5, 2025.

Under this new law, it will be illegal to use a handheld device while driving. Hands-free use is still allowed, but if you’re caught with your phone in hand behind the wheel, you could face penalties.

This is part of a broader effort to reduce accidents—over 11,000 crashes in PA last year were caused by distracted driving.

Let’s all do our part to stay safe and keep our roads clear. Put the phone down.
