Somewhere at the Jersey Shore right now…

a homeowner is sitting on their deck…

🌫️ staring at the overcast weather
🍋 sipping a White Claw
🌊 watching the bay get choppy

…completely unaware they’re paying THOUSANDS too much for insurance because their current agent communicates exclusively through smoke signals and voicemail.

Meanwhile I’m over here answering texts like it’s a personality disorder.

Apparently that now makes me the “swipe right” version of insurance agents 😆

✔️ I understand coastal homes and flood insurance
✔️ I don’t disappear for 4-6 business days after you ask a question

Honestly… the amount of people who’ve told me:
“My agent never explained that to me…”

is borderline concerning.

Especially at the Jersey Shore where:
🌊 flood zones matter
💨 wind deductibles matter
🏠 roof coverage matters
📞 and having an agent who actually responds REALLY matters

🍻 Despite the Forecast Memorial Day Weekend will officially continue uninterrupted.
Authorities will be responding to:
• Middle-aged dads screaming “WE DIDN’T COME DOWN HERE TO SIT INSIDE”
• Entire families eating Wawa hoagies on covered porches like it’s the apocalypse
• A suspiciously shirtless guy in 58 degree weather under a beach umbrella in rain and wind gusts of 15-20mph
• Multiple North Wildwood residents claiming:
“Honestly… this weather’s kinda a vibe.”
Meanwhile:
🎰 Arcades will be at full capacity
🍕 Sam's Pizza lines remain medically concerning
🎤Le Compt will be playing at the Inlet for the 1,000 time
🍹The #1 Tavern Tully nuts will have you 1 sip closer to diabetes
🩴 Someone definitely already lost a flip-flop in a flood puddle
🍺 Surfside & White Claw supplies will be hanging by a thread
And as everyone else is debating whether the rain is “letting up soon”…
I’ll be sitting like a responsible adult:

BREAKING NEWS: Xi Jinping met with America’s top business leaders today to discuss global markets, AI, and economic strategy.

Sources confirmed the meeting included:
• Elon Musk
• Tim Cook
• Fortune 500 CEOs
• And somehow… an insurance guy from Northeast Philly.

Apparently things came to a complete standstill when I asked:

“Yeah but… did anyone review the their homwoners insurance and make sure you have water backup?” 😂

Rumor has it Elon wanted to discuss Mars.
I wanted to discuss why half of America still thinks “full coverage” is an actual auto insurance term.

Honestly, by the end of the meeting Xi looked more confused about homeowners deductibles than international trade.

Fast forward a few weeks…
Same people who thought this sounded great are now calling me like:
“Wait… none of this is actually covered??”
Yeah… that’s because it’s not real.
But here’s the problem…
A lot of people are walking around with coverage that’s not much better.
Missing drivers.

🦅Catching footballs… not charges 😬

That’s usually the goal.

But former Eagles Super Bowl Champion Alshon Jeffery is in the news this week for auto insurance fraud 👀

From making plays at Lincoln Financial Field… to this headline.

Not saying anything about his situation—

BUT it highlights something I see way more than people realize 👇

This isn’t “movie-style fraud”

It’s everyday people making small decisions trying to save a few bucks…

…and it snowballs FAST.

Real-life scenarios I see all the time:

👉 “Let’s just rate the car at my parents’ house… it’s cheaper there”
(You haven’t lived there in years 😂)

👉 “Don’t list my kid yet… they just got their license”
(Meanwhile they’re driving everywhere)

👉 “Keep my kid on my policy even though they moved out”
(Sounds harmless… until it’s not)

👉 “Just say you were driving”
(This one turns into a problem REAL quick)

👉 “We’ll just include that old damage in this claim”
(Insurance companies: 👀)

👉 “I’ll say it was stolen”
(…when it wasn’t)

Here’s what actually happens next:

This doesn’t turn into a quick payout…

It turns into:

Investigations 🕵️‍♂️
Recorded statements 🎤
Delays ⏳
Claim DENIED ❌
Policy canceled 🚫

…and now you’re in the high-risk market paying way more 💸

The truth nobody talks about:

Most fraud doesn’t start as fraud.

It starts with:
“I’m just trying to save some money”

…and ends with:
“This just became a serious problem”

Philly translation:

Saving $200 a year…
and risking everything else…

That’s not a winning parlay 😅

If an agent is willing to “look the other way” on stuff like this…
they’re protecting their business—not yours.

This isn’t just about price.
It’s about making sure your coverage actually works when it matters.

I treat this the same way a good accountant or financial advisor would—
details matter, accuracy matters, and doing it right upfront matters.

I won’t let a client misrepresent information—period.

Not because I’m difficult…
because it puts YOU at risk, and it puts ME at risk.

Most people think my job is just insurance.
It’s not.

A big part of what I actually do is connect people to the right people.
And these both happened last week 👇

🏠 A realtor I work with had a deal about to fall apart over a roof on the seller’s home

→ Got my roofing guy involved 🔨
→ No out-of-pocket for the seller 💰
→ Deal stays alive and closes ✅
→ Roofer picks up a $25K job

💼 Had a client stressed over a tax situation
→ Something didn’t feel right 🤔
→ Connected them with my accountant
→ Turns out they were given bad information ❌
→ Fixed in a couple days… stress gone 😮‍💨

That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of what I do—helping other people win!

I help people win without worrying about what I get out of it.
That’s actually been the best business strategy I’ve ever had.

Not just writing policies…

But actually helping people solve problems and move things forward.

Over time, you build a network of people you trust—
Realtors, accountants, attorneys, roofers, contractors, financial advisors, mortgage brokers 🤝

And when something comes up, you know exactly who to call.
That matters.

Because the difference between a deal dying and getting done…
or a problem dragging on vs. getting solved quickly…
usually comes down to who you know.

So I’ll ask—

Why does that matter?
