We are asking all our friends, family and followers to open their hearts and donate to Addie's Army - a beautiful cause started by a wonderful family close to our hearts.
Their Mission:
Most families take a financial hit when they have a sick child in the hospital. Unpaid leaves of absence, Job Loss, and medical bills that pile up and quickly become overwhelming. Its hard enough enough to have a child in the hospital, even more challenging when everything else is affected by this already stressful situation. let's give these families one less thing to worry about this holiday season. Every donation helps no matter how big or small.
Their motivation:
One month after Addison was born she was transferred to Cohen's Children Medical Center for a Tracheostomy and Gastrostomy. Her family lived next door at the Ronald McDonald House for nearly 2 months while Addison was in the NICU and PICU. They were fed, housed and comforted during a very stressful and overwhelming time. During their stay in 2021, COVID restrictions were so high that Addison's 2 brothers could not meet their new sister or see their parents. On the days their parents could see them they would bring the boys gifts from Addie like coloring books, legos and board games, all courtesy of RMHC. This small gesture helped them connect with the sister they had yet to meet. Addison's family is forever grateful for the support of RMHC and want to support other families in in that same situation.
This is truly a resilient, strong and positive family that I am honored to know and support. Please consider donating to this wonderful cause, no matter how small, and help put a smile on a child's face this. holiday season.
