Big news out of the Supreme Court today! The 6–3 ruling to strike down the "Liberation Day" tariffs isn’t just a win for Wall Street—it’s a massive development for the entire trucking industry, especially for small-to-midsized companies.

What does this mean for the "Little Guy"?

✅ Lower Operating Costs: For a small fleet, every dollar counts. The removal of tariffs on steel, aluminum, and auto parts means the cost of new equipment and—more importantly—repair parts should finally start to stabilize or drop.

✅ More Freight on the Move: Lower tariffs generally mean more goods flowing across borders and into the hands of consumers. For small carriers, this means more opportunities for loads and potentially better margins as demand for capacity increases.
