Please join us in congratulating Sarah Nottingham on her new role as Vice President of Human Resources at The Grant County Bank! 🎉

Sarah previously served as Finance Officer for Highlands Bankshares, Inc. and brings a strong background in leadership, operations, accounting, and human resources management to this position.

Before joining HBI in late 2020, Sarah spent 21 years with Spruce K**b Seneca Rocks Telephone Inc. (SKSRT), serving in multiple roles including General Manager, where she supported both accounting and HR functions. She continues to serve SKSRT as a member of its Board of Directors.

We are excited to see Sarah step into this new role and continue supporting our employees and organization with her experience, leadership, and dedication. Congratulations, Sarah! 👏

Fun fact: Sarah usually keeps a full candy dish on her desk… and treats for your dog! 🍬🐶

Recently, Brenda Wolford, AVP & Davis Branch Manager, presented a $1,500 sponsorship donation on behalf of The Grant County Bank to support Cottrill’s Opera House and Alpine Heritage Preservation, Inc.

Please join us in welcoming Serenity Henry to The Grant County Bank team! 🎉

Serenity joined our Petersburg Office as a Credit Analyst and is originally from Moorefield, WV.

Outside of work, Serenity stays busy with her 14-month-old and is very involved with New Life Tabernacle of Moorefield, W.V., where she serves as a worship leader. She also enjoys reading, writing songs, and singing.

When asked what community means to her, Serenity shared that it means being friendly and always being there for each other. She also hopes customers know that she strives to be as helpful as possible and hopes every interaction brightens their day. 😊

💰🏫 Luke Kesner, AVP & Business Development Officer at our Moorefield Office, recently visited Moorefield Elementary School for Career Day to teach students about banking and the importance of saving money.

At the beginning of his presentation, each student received a quarter to hold onto. At the end, Luke exchanged their quarter for a 50-cent piece to demonstrate how saving can help your money grow over time. 👏
