There’s something special about bringing different generations of leaders into the same room.

At our recent Leadership Mixer, we had the opportunity to connect with our Student Advisory Board alongside local leaders like Jim Hunt from GAHHMA. “The conversation, energy, and perspective shared across the room was a reminder of how important it is to create space for these connections. When we take the time to listen, encourage, and engage with young people, we’re not just supporting their growth—we’re investing in the future of our entire community.”

Investing in our people is one of the most meaningful ways we bring our mission to life…

Through our partnership with Mount Wachusett Community College , we’ve offered a series of professional development opportunities for our team, including sales, de-escalation, and project management.

This particular group focused on leadership.

Over the course of 75 hours, these team members committed to taking themselves on, leaning into front-line and middle management leadership, strengthening how they support others, and growing in confidence in their roles.

What stood out most was their openness and willingness to reflect. During the final session, we heard about their biggest challenges and takeaways, from navigating difficult conversations to gaining a broader perspective and deeper self-awareness.

At GFA, our culture is rooted in being curious, empowered, compassionate, accountable, present, and remarkable. Creating space for growth like this, and truly supporting our team through it is something we value deeply 👏🏻
