Merry Christmas!!

It’s beginning to look a lot like…well you know. Funny story, years ago I had a bad attitude during Christmas, and my mom sent me this Grinch. I thought it was awesome and I got the point also to be a little more grateful. Now each year, the Monday after Thanksgiving, we have the placing of the Grinch. A reminder things aren’t so bad, and we are blessed beyond measure! Thanks to everyone who makes things so wonderful in our part of the world!
And Merry Christmas from all of us!!

Picking them up and putting them down this past Saturday in the Mora 5k. Madeline’s Half Fast Crew brought home the award for most runners/walkers and glad Leza and I were there. The agency will be closed from 10:15 to 11:45 on Monday so we can pay our respects to our friend and to love on the family.

We loved Mr. Ralph! Praying for the family!

Ralph Yawn was an original. He was someone who seemed so comfortable in his skin. Loyal almost to a fault, if he was for you, he stood with you in the good stuff and the bad. I met Mr. Ralph, as we called him, a couple of decades ago and he somewhat became an institution around the insurance agency. Always riding the streets to check things out and stopping by to report what was happening around town. We often talked about faith, politics, and his earlier career with the Petal FD. This photo is from 2017 when Mrs. Doris and Mr. Ralph had moved back into their home after repairs were completed from tornado damage. I don't think I've ever seen two people happier to get back home. Mr. Ralph stepped into eternity yesterday. I will miss my friend, but as a believer in Christ, I think he is truly home now. These moments are a reminder of the brevity of this life. I hope you consider eternity today. Mark 1:15
