Good morning friends,

We all have a family member or friend who needs or did need some type of long term care services and the stats aren’t too promising either as someone who turns 65 today has a 70% chance of needing some type of help in their remaining years. The cost of these services can crush a savings or retirement plan. But there are solutions - long term care insurance can help you and your family with this cost.

While the old traditional style of acquiring a true long term care insurance policy still exists, my opinion is that there are now better options to assist with this need. There are now hybrid/combination policies that include annuities or life insurance which can sometimes be a great fit and make more sense. This is especially true for my 40-65 year old friends.

Good morning,

Just a little note to all of the Dads out there on Father's Day week. One of the best things you can do for your children and your loved ones is to make sure you have adequate life insurance. This is especially true when you have young children. Not only do you need to ensure that they are financially secure in your absence but you also need to provide for their education, marriage, etc.

Just a little quick reminder of the importance of life insurance. As I’m sure some of you can relate, I have lost way too many friends, family members and clients at young ages.
