I don't see many of these anymore and I can tell you that they take a lot of time to get them back to working shape after years of sitting in a barn and having pieces missing especially the correct shuttle bobbin case!

The first pretty big new thing was a new sewing machine for my mom! It was a New Home and I took it over while she was away and moved her old machine into the spare room and setup the new one with the thread and bobbin, then I put the dress she had been sewing in place and did a few test stitches to make sure it was ready to go. I covered it back up like her old machine was and left. I went back a while later and had coffee with her and chatted a while, after a bit she said she needed to finish the dress for my sister Gwen. She uncovered the machine and sat down and didn't even notice the machine was different until she started trying to find the foot pedal on the floor, as she was looking for it, it wasn't there then she saw the knee pedal control and sat up and squealed as she saw her new machine!! Oh how I wish I had video of that moment ❤️❤️ Of course she knew immediately who had done it!! I miss Mom so much, it's hard to believe that she's been gone for almost 30 years now 😥 I hope and pray to see her again in the resurrection!!

Just a heads up, These newer machines with top loading bobbins using the Singer 15 bobbins need to use the PLASTIC one's Not Metal! The metal ones can cause problems and over time damage the bobbin case/holder!
