Payne County Bank is gearing up for the Highway 33 Rivalry football game with a Cushing Branch vs. Perkins Branch Change Challenge! Show your team spirit by bringing your donations to our Perkins Main Bank Branch at 202 S. Main St., or our Cushing Branch at 1002 E. Main St between now and gameday, Friday, September 11th. Whichever branch raises the most money will be declared the winner! All proceeds go to United Way of Payne County.

Saddle Up, Perkins! Old Settlers’ Day is coming!

Join us in Downtown Perkins on Saturday, September 26 for the 2026 Old Settlers’ Day Parade & Festival, celebrating this year’s theme:

HOME OF THE ORIGINAL COWBOY

We’re getting ready for a full morning of Perkins tradition, community, and family fun.

Here’s the basic plan for the day:

⭐ 8:30 a.m. — Old Settlers’ Day festivities begin downtown
⭐ 10:00 a.m. — The Historical Parade rolls through Perkins
⭐ After the parade — Stick around for vendors, food, entertainment, games, activities, and more throughout downtown

And this is only the beginning.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the parade, entertainment, vendors, activities, local history, and everything being planned for this year’s celebration.

So round up your family and friends, mark September 26 on your calendar, and get ready to celebrate Perkins with us.

Old Settlers’ Day is almost here. We’ll see you on Main Street!
