Hiring a real estate agent is key to finding a new home, especially in this market. An experienced one, is even better. Realtors have access to not only new listings immediately as they come on the market, but also ones that are coming soon and because of their network of other realtors, they could help find a home before it even comes on the market at all. If you need a referral for a realtor, let me know - but I highly recommend using a realtor to find your new home.

With rent prices increasing, and rates still low, there's a chance that not only you could afford your own mortgage, but you're paying more in rent than you would on your mortgage with the same sized home. Renting is a great short term solution but if you've renewed a year lease more than once, you should definitely consider your options for purchasing, because renting or owning, you're still paying someone's mortgage, why not your own?⁣
