Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare is October 15th - December 7th for plans starting January 1, 2027.

For 2027 ACA coverage, the official Open Enrollment Period runs from November 1, 2026 through January 15, 2027 in most states, with a key deadline of December 15, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027

Flashback Friday!

I was coming back from ElderCare’s Path to Success Medicare Conference. Kyle Ingenthron from American Home Life had the same idea of taking the Cessna Grand Caravan from Hot Springs to Dallas / Ft Worth. What was also great was that I missed connecting with him at his table to get some info so he was able to share with me a nugget about some things that would be available for my clients. Sometimes things happen for a reason and we got a chance to connect and share the Grand Caravan flight ✈️ experience.

Day 1 of WAPCON 2026! It was great to connect with the carriers, meet new brokers, reconnect with friends, and just take in as much as possible to prepare for Annual Enrollment Period that is quickly approaching! Thank you to Paul Rose and his team at Western Asset Protection for another great event. I even caught Adrienne Ostrus from Eldercare Insurance Services. If you did not guess, it was Western 🤠 theme this year. I was ready for this event back in the Spring soon after I learned of the theme and had registered for the event. A lot of people thought I wear this outfit quite often. It was fun! Looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow.

It is estimated that about 3,000,000 Medicare Advantage members will lose their plans by the end of the year. 600,000 of those will be Humana Medicare Advantage members.
