🥂 CHEERS TO A NEW CHAPTER! 🏡

Last spring, John and Cathy walked into one of my open houses. A week later, they called and told me they wanted me to be their Realtor when they were ready to make the move from Idaho to Arizona. ❤️

Well, they DID IT! Sold the house, sold pretty much everything, packed up the RV, and headed south. 🌵😂

And we found the home that checked ALL the boxes, right here in THE GRAND. Now they get to call Arizona home full time and golf to their hearts’ content. ⛳️☀️

I did this for the first time last year, and it was so much fun! I handed out **500 FREE calendars** featuring beautiful photos taken by our very own Grand residents. So, of course, we’re doing it again! 🎉

What’s one thing that surprised you about Arizona? Or three. 🤪🤔🌵

For me…

• The highways. They’re wide, clean, and even the overpasses have architectural details. Very little trash or graffiti. 🚘

• The lack of bugs. I honestly expected way more desert critters. Nope. 😄 🦟🪳

• The wildlife. Quail, roadrunners, rabbits, coyotes, and javelinas just casually wandering through the neighborhood like it’s no big deal.🐗🐦‍⬛🦉

Every real estate transaction has milestones, and this is a big one. We’ve successfully completed the inspection period, worked through the details, and now we’re officially on the home stretch. 🏡🙌

From here, it’s all about getting everything finalized and making our way to the closing table. One step closer to handing over the keys! 🔑☀️

🚨 In case you haven’t heard…

🇺🇸 Arizona just made homeownership more affordable for many disabled veterans.

A new Arizona law, signed by Governor Katie Hobbs on June 13, 2026, expands property tax exemptions for qualifying disabled veterans beginning January 1, 2027.

Here’s what changes:

✅ Income limits have been eliminated.

✅ Property value limits have been eliminated.

✅ Qualifying 100% Permanent and Total disabled veterans, including eligible veterans receiving Total Disability based on Individual Unemployability (TDIU), may qualify for a full property tax exemption on their primary residence.

If you or someone you know is a disabled veteran, this change could significantly reduce the cost of homeownership in Arizona.

Please don’t assume you don’t qualify based on the old rules. The law has changed.💯
