Tomorrow marks 10 years with Zarahn Insurance for Kristi Ovando! ❤️🖤

If you've had the pleasure of knowing Kristi, you know that ten years of Kristi means ten years of wit, laughter, personality, and plenty of memorable moments. She has a way of making the workday a little more fun just by being herself, and we're lucky to have someone who brings that kind of personality to our office.

Kristi is also someone who takes pride in taking care of what's in front of her and seeing it through—and over the years, she's become an important part of the Zarahn Insurance family. Whether she's making us laugh, sharing one of her latest baking creations, or just being her wonderfully witty self, she has definitely left her mark on our office.

So today, we're celebrating 10 years of Kristi being Kristi! 🎉

Today is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day (I didn't even know that was a holiday,) so I decided to batter up and bring cookies to work! 🍪

I figured it was the yeast I could do. I didn't want to dessert my coworkers when they kneaded a little pick-me-up. Hopefully they're a batch above average and everyone thinks they're pretty sweet!

If they crumble under the pressure... well... that's just the way the cookie crumbles. 😄

We got a couple dozen from Insomnia Cookies. Soft, gooey, still hot. Mm!

🎉 Happy 15th Work Anniversary, Jarett! 🎉

Today, (Even though his Anniversary was over the weekend on the 1st) we're celebrating an incredible milestone—15 years with Zarahn Insurance Agency!

Jarett's journey is one that truly embodies hard work and dedication. He began his career here as a Customer Service Representative and, through years of commitment, leadership, and an unwavering focus on serving others, worked his way up to become our Vice President.

If you ask his clients what makes him special, the answer is always the same. They know they have someone in their corner. Someone who takes the time to build relationships, protect what matters most, and always puts their best interests first. Insurance isn't just a policy to Jarett—it's a promise to be there when people need him most.

His leadership extends far beyond his title. He doesn't simply manage a team—he invests in people. He teaches, mentors, encourages, and helps every member of our Personal Lines department grow into a stronger insurance professional. He leads by example, working right alongside his team every day. Long after many have gone home, you'll often still find Jarett here, making sure the job is done right.

He never asks someone else to do something he's unwilling to do himself. More often than not, he's already doing it.

Outside the office, you'll find him enjoying hunting, golfing, gardening... and if you've met his two white turkeys, you know they seem to think he's one of their own. 🦃😄

Fifteen years ago, Zarahn Insurance hired a CSR. Today, we're celebrating a Vice President who has helped shape our agency, our team, and the experience our clients receive every single day.

Jarett, thank you for leading with integrity, serving with humility, and reminding all of us that the best leaders don't stand above their team—they stand beside them.
