💰 Escambia County has temporarily waived fees for repairs related to Hurricane Isaias damages, which includes application and inspection fees for permits, land use approvals, and development orders necessary for Hurricane Isaias disaster recovery.

✅ The Board of County Commissioners waived the fees for the public through an Emergency Order, recognizing that the ongoing economic effects of Hurricane Isaias create uncertainty for the personal and business interests of the citizens of Escambia County.

❗Note: The Emergency Order only applies to permit and inspection fees related to Hurricane Isaias damage. Permits are still required as usual, and the Emergency Order does not change any other permitting procedures and requirements.

As families across the Florida Panhandle continue recovering from Hurricane Isaias, we want to help connect those impacted with free supplies and additional resources available in their communities.

FREE STORM RECOVERY SUPPLIES | LOWE'S

Today, Tuesday, October 13, Lowe's is hosting Bucket Brigade events, providing free buckets filled with recovery essentials, including bottled water, flashlights, sponges, trash bags, goggles and hand sanitizer.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management has also opened a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC), bringing together state agency partners to help residents access recovery resources and assistance.

Hurricane Isaias: In-Person Claims Assistance

To best serve members and policyholders affected by Hurricane Isaias, Tower Hill representatives will be onsite today, Monday, October 12, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. CT.

The assistance hub is scheduled to be open October 12–16 to help consumers with insurance-related questions and claims needs.
