🌟 Owner Spotlight: Meet Melissa Keener! 🌟
We're proud to introduce the owner of Keener Jones Insurance, Melissa Keener!

Melissa has been in the insurance industry since 1991 and began her journey with Ron Jones 31 years ago as a Customer Service Representative. Through hard work and dedication, she became the agency's Office Manager before purchasing the agency when Ron retired in 2016.

What Melissa enjoys most about the insurance business is being there for customers when they need it most—especially during a claim. She loves helping families find the right protection while finding solutions that fit their needs and budget.

Giving back has always been an important part of Melissa's mission. Throughout her career, she has helped secure multiple Allstate Helping Hands grants benefiting organizations such as the American Cancer Society, PACE Center for Girls, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida, and the Alzheimer's Association. She has also organized backpack and school supply drives and started the Salvation Army Angel Tree program in her neighborhood—a tradition that continues today.

When she's not in the office, Melissa enjoys watercolor painting, reading, watching movies and TV shows, and spending time with her family, her dogs, and her chickens. She's also a huge football fan and rarely misses a game!

Melissa's passion for helping others—both her customers and her community—is at the heart of everything we do at Keener Jones Insurance. We're grateful for her leadership, compassion, and dedication.

This week, we're excited to introduce Cat Liffner, our Agency Operations Manager at Keener Jones Insurance!

Cat has been part of the Keener Jones team since 2022, but this isn't her first chapter with us. She originally worked at the agency from 2009 to 2013, making her return feel like coming home.

Her insurance career began in 2006 and one of the proudest moments of her career came in 2018 when she was recognized as Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year for the State of Florida by the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.

What Cat enjoys most about insurance is building lasting relationships with clients and helping them protect what matters most. She believes great service goes beyond policies—it's about earning trust and being there when people need you.

Originally from Sweden, Cat moved to the United States in 2004—just two weeks before Hurricane Ivan made landfall! That unforgettable introduction to Florida gave her a firsthand look at the importance of insurance and helping families recover after unexpected events.

When she's away from the office, Cat enjoys painting and tackling all kinds of creative projects. In fact, many of the paintings you'll see throughout our office were created by her! Be sure to check them out during your next visit to the agency!

Tasha has been a valued part of the Keener Jones Insurance family for 14 years and brings an impressive 29 years of insurance experience to our agency.

Her favorite part of the job is helping clients find the coverage they need and knowing that every day brings something new and different.

When she's not assisting our customers, Tasha enjoys spending time on the boat, making memories with her grandchildren, and relaxing with her two lovable wiener dogs.

Family is incredibly important to her, and she loves every opportunity to spend quality time with her loved ones.

We're grateful for Tasha's dedication, experience, and commitment to serving our clients. If you see her around the office, be sure to say hello!

Why does she love working here? She thrives in our collaborative environment where everyone truly works as a team. Looking ahead, her ultimate career goal is to build a successful future so she can retire and live comfortably.

Vanessa joins us with a wealth of experience, having served clients in the insurance industry since 2016. She is dedicated to growing our agency by welcoming new clients and crafting the perfect insurance policies to protect what matters most to them.
Vanessa’s absolute favorite part of being an agent is the opportunity to help people every day. She is always looking forward to expanding her insurance knowledge to ensure her customers get top-tier service.

If you're a local hockey fan, you probably recognize Vanessa! This past season was her 17th season singing the National and Canadian anthems for the Pensacola Ice Flyers Hockey team, and she continues to be a cherished part of every home game at the Bay Center.! 🏒

When she is off the clock and not rocking the stadium, Vanessa is an avid dog lover. Her two pups, Conway and Nala, are her absolute world! 🐶 ❤️
