In the last week we’ve helped 8 families get hometown hero 🦸 down payment assistance funds. So that they can have the dream of homeownership.
PSA 🗣️ there are lenders who will tell you YOU DONT QUALIFY. Because not everyone has access to these funds. There are just under 72M dollars 💵 of money left down from the 100M so it’s going fast. 💨
The basic criteria is the following: I don’t want anyone to get bad info or miss out. Some people that offer it don’t even know the basic guidelines.
1. 5% of loan amount to go towards downpayment and closing costs. This is an interest free loan.
2. Closing costs are lower. No documentary stamps charged.
3. Must be a first time home buyer. Unless in a targeted area or veteran. Credit qualifying Income limits of $134,850 in Escambia/SR Counties.
4. Lower interest rates than current market rate.
5. Must be full time and have an employer with a physical work location in Florida.
