If a parent passed away tomorrow-
What financial stress would your other parent face ?
• Bereavement leave in the US is on average 3-5 days - is that enough time for them to mourn?
Is that enough time for you to mourn?
• GoFundMe takes 2.9% + .30 of the charity you may end up needing to rely on and that will depend on the ‘extra’ money that friends and family have available.
• Do they have a lifestyle unsustainable on 1 income?
• Is the money available for a burial plot, casket, funeral, or even cremation?

Death is a HARD thing to handle. Don't add money to that stress.
Know the financial state of your parents and develop a plan WITH them and for yourself- ESPECIALLY if you have ANYONE who depends on you.

Life comes down to a few moments and decisions
If we do not have the discipline in the small moments, we will not have them in the large ones.

• 6 out of 10 (gen Z & millennials) say they trust social media influencers to receive insurance and finance information.
• In 2019- 29% of adults used social media for knowledge on finance and insurance. In 2025 it’s 62% while 80% are under 45 yrs old.

The most clicked and viewed things are what is pushed in front of your eyes; regardless of truth.

The facts are the facts. Life and disability insurances are emotional protections secured with logical decision making.

By the time it hits your search bar- chances are it’s too late to get affordably.
