Through the pandemic, we unfortunately saw a rise in unemployment. However, as resilient and driven as this country is, Americans have either gone on to start their own businesses, or found 'gig work' with Uber, Doordash, etc., and made a way for themselves, even generating enough income for themselves to do it full-time!

Received news yesterday about the President's 2022 budget and what is and is not included as it relates to healthcare. Among those campaign aspirations not included in the 2022 budget was a "public option", a Medicare-like plan that individuals and small businesses could buy into, similar to ACA plans. However, the President has expanded subsidies for Marketplace plans (and in the 2022 budget will remain this way), which is a great alternative to the "Medicare for all" proposal.

What are your thoughts? Should there be a public option? Should the Medicare age be lowered to 60?

Sen. Murray and Rep. Pallone aim to write a bill to create a health-care public option, which President Biden has not put in his recovery plans.
