The Student Credit Union Branch is a fully functioning branch that will be located in the High School‘s Cafeteria. Designed first and foremost as an educational tool, the student credit union branch offers opportunities to experience real world personal finance in a safe, secure environment. In addition to providing quality financial services to students, this forward thinking endeavor provides a unique opportunity to teach the importance of good financial decisions and planning. Several students have been selected and instructed on how to run the student branch, performing all duties from accepting membership applications to processing transactions. Each day the Student Credit Union Branch is open a credit union liaison will be on hand to assist with any additional questions. Being a member of the Student Credit Union Branch also makes you a Member of Westmoreland Community Federal Credit Union. This means your account will stay open for as long as you want it to, and you're able to conduct all transactions at any of our branch locations.
