Throwing it back to last week’s Thursdays in Pella, hosted by and LSB. In addition to kids games, we gave away over $200 in bingo prizes, sponsored the inflatables, and saw some truly awesome creations from !

🧾📄☀️🚙 We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect morning for our annual community-wide free shredding event in Pella! We unloaded sensitive documents from 1️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ cars for secure shredding. We also gave away 90 Vander Ploeg Bakery donuts to make everyone’s Saturday a little happier. 😊
Thanks to generous free-will donations, we ended up with a very nice collection of food and toiletry items that will be dropped off at the Pella Community Food Shelf next week.

✏️✏️✏️ Congratulations to our 2026 LSB Teacher of the Year, Erin Clarke! LSB staff and Knoxville's West Elementary Principal Jory Houser surprised Mrs. Clarke in her preschool classroom on Tuesday afternoon. LSB received many heartfelt nominations for Mrs. Clarke, each mentioning her dedication to students and her passion for teaching:
