Some more information on rates today!

Back in April, a 30 year fixed rate Conventional loan had a 7.25% rate with no discount points and 20% down. That same scenario today is a 6.5% rate or a 6% rate with 1 discount point! If there is more than 20% down today it is under a 6% rate!

NAR says for every 1% drop in rate, 5 million more households qualify for homeownership! Also, for every 1% drop in rate buying power increases by 10%! So a buyer can increase from $400k to $440k and have the same payment!

Let’s get ready for the new season by adding value and helping others accomplish the dream of homeownership!
