Most people think umbrella and excess are the same thing…
They’re not—and choosing the wrong one can leave a pretty big gap.

Here’s the simple way to think about it:
👉 Umbrella = broader protection across multiple policies
👉 Excess = more coverage, but only for one specific policy

Sounds subtle, but it matters more than you think—especially if you have assets, a business, or higher liability exposure.

It’s not about having more insurance—
It’s about having the right structure behind it.

If you’re not sure how yours is structured—or don’t have either at all—feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to discuss!

Most people don’t realize this until it’s too late…

👉 Not all property coverage pays the same after a loss.

You could have insurance and STILL be left paying thousands out of pocket.

Here’s the difference:
• Replacement Cost = rebuilds or replaces with new (no deduction for age)
• Actual Cash Value = pays what it’s worth today (after depreciation)

Sounds small… but it’s not.
That gap can be the difference between getting fully back on your feet — or coming out of pocket way more than expected.

💬 Do you actually know which one your policy has? Message me for a no obligation policy review — I’ll walk through it with you and make sure you’re covered the right way.

My tiny coworker just completed his first auto quote! Anyone brave enough to get a quote from him? 😅 🚗

🚨 Coming up for renewal? Read this before you just “auto-renew”…

Not all insurance policies are created equal — and what worked last year might NOT be the right fit today.

I’m seeing it every day:
➡️ Clients overpaying by thousands (just saved someone $2,000+ on their auto policy)
➡️ People buying online and missing critical coverages
➡️ Policies that look “cheap” but leave major gaps when it matters most

Here’s the truth:
Insurance isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Your home, your business, your family — your situation is unique. You need someone who can:
✔️ Look at the full picture
✔️ Get creative with different companies & options
✔️ Make sure you’re properly protected
✔️ Actually explain what you have — and what you don’t

That’s the difference in working with ME - an independent agent who works for you, not the insurance companies. I make sure you’re insured the RIGHT way.

💬 If your renewal is coming up, now is the time to review. Let’s make sure you’re not overpaying OR underinsured.

Excited to share a new feature we just launched on our website. 🎉

As a local family-owned insurance agency, we pride ourselves on being available when our clients need us — real people, real conversations, not a call center.

But we also know people like quick and easy tools online. So we’re excited to announce a new feature where you can get instant estimated home and auto insurance quotes online in just a few minutes.

These are quick estimates (not exact rates), but it’s a great way to see a ballpark before we run the full quotes for you.

Who wants to test it out? Link is here👇🏼

Did you know behavioral health facilities are one of the many types of businesses I specialize in insuring? Insurance for these organizations is very different from standard business insurance. From professional liability to patient-related exposures, it’s important to make sure coverage is structured properly.

This includes:
• Mental health treatment
• Substance use/addicition treatment
• Counseling and therapy
• Behavioral health facilities
• Residential recovery programs

📖Check out the article below from our website. If you operate a facility and ever want a second opinion on your current insurance policy, feel free to contact me. Happy to take a look.
