New Year means new ways fraudsters can steal your identity, but we’ll give you 5 resolutions to keep you ahead of the scammers!
Resolution 4
Oversharing online can make it easier for fraudsters to target you.
Phishing scams often use personal details to appear legitimate, which is why it’s important to limit what you share online and always verify requests for personal or financial information.
Remember: banks and trusted businesses will never ask for sensitive information through unsolicited calls, texts, or emails.
🔐 When in doubt, don’t click. Verify first.

New Year means new ways fraudsters can steal your identity, but we’ll give you 5 resolutions to keep you ahead of the scammers!

Resolution 3

The sooner fraud is detected, the easier it is to limit the damage.
Make it a habit to regularly review your bank statements and credit report for unfamiliar activity. Setting up account alerts and monitoring your credit can help you catch potential fraud before it becomes a bigger issue.
✔️ Small habits today can protect your financial future tomorrow.

New Year means new ways fraudsters can steal your identity, but we’ll give you 5 resolutions to keep you ahead of the scammers!

Resolution 2

Scams don’t stand still and neither should your awareness.
According to Experian, phishing, imposter scams, AI-driven fraud, and romance scams were among the most common scams in 2025. Fraudsters are always finding new ways to trick people into sharing personal information.
Staying educated on the latest scams is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself. Follow us and the FTC to stay informed.
⚠️ Knowledge is one of your strongest defenses.
