⚠️🚨CARD FRAUD ALERT!🚨⚠️
Don’t rely on caller ID. Scammers are calling from fake numbers that look like Security Service, and tricking members into giving them their debit cards or transferring money. Protect yourself:
• Don’t mail, deliver, or give your debit card to anyone. If you are ever asked to do so, hang up immediately and do not respond.
• Scammers have become better at faking our number. Your caller ID may show the call coming from “SSFCU” when it’s not. They pressure members to act quickly. They use scare tactics that alarm you and coerce you into action. If you get a call like this, hang up immediately.
• Hang up if a caller asks you to transfer money, withdraw cash, give them your debit card, provide login information, or provide one-time passcodes. Do not give anyone access to your accounts or any of your devices. Security Service will never ask for this.
If you receive an unexpected call, text, or email claiming to be from Security Service, hang up and call us directly at 1-888-415-7878.
Remember, Security Service will never call, email, or text you asking for your credit or debit card, card information, passwords, account numbers, one-time passcodes, access to your account or devices, or any other personal information.
