Tuesday was especially meaningful as our President/CEO, Jonathan Grimmett, had the honor of presenting the Jack Dallas Grimmett Memorial Scholarship at the Pauls Valley Panthers Athletic Banquet.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients, James Fields and Gracy Manning! Your hard work, dedication, and character make our community proud.

This scholarship carries a legacy that is deeply personal to our bank and the Grimmett family, making this moment one that truly hits home. We are honored to celebrate and invest in students who represent the future of our community so well.

🐍 Well… this wasn’t on today’s banking checklist. 😅

One of our employees at the Meridian branch found a very large unexpected visitor this morning — thankfully already deceased — and bravely handled “snake removal duty” like a champ! 👏

At our bank, we pride ourselves on customer service, community support, AND apparently wildlife management. 😂

Just another normal day in small-town banking. 🤠🐍

Today, we pause to honor the life and legacy of one of our beloved bank owners, whose leadership, kindness, and dedication helped shape who we are today.

After a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s, we say goodbye with heavy hearts, but also with deep gratitude for the impact made on our bank, our community, and the many lives touched along the way.

Brent’s commitment to serving others, belief in community banking, and genuine care for people will never be forgotten. The foundation he helped build continues on through the relationships, values, and traditions we carry forward every day.
