We had four very nice FEMA representatives stop in the office yesterday. They had flyers on how to apply for FEMA Disaster Assistance. Apparently they have the money and were walking business to business to get the word out.
I had to tell several of our customers that their home insurance doesn't cover flood damage. That was a tough conversation. You must file a claim with your insurance company first, even though they will deny the claim. Then go to FEMA.

March 16th is the last day to apply.

This is a part time position with hours from 10-3 M-F. We have a team of four full-time people and we're looking to add someone who enjoys customer service, genuinely loves to help people and solve problems. You should have a way about you that easily connects with our customers with a nice, positive, friendly, calming personality. You must be comfortable talking to people in person and on the phone.

Daily activities include: answering phones, directing calls, taking payments, following up with our customers about payments and appointments. You'll be expected to understand and catch on quickly to our computer software, stay organized and pay attention to detail.

We would like you to learn the insurance business and eventually get your insurance license so you can sell and service our products.

We're an office who sees each other a family, who work hard and encourage one another. We have an open door policy where we communicate our needs, wants and ideas. We have integrity and we do business honestly. We care about our customers and have developed relationships that are built on trust. And we have fun!
