Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

A top producing Loan Officer in Paso Robles, CA is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant. Someone who is a self-starter, an efficient multi-tasker, great with people, has a positive attitude and loves working in a fast paced environment. This position will require mortgage responsibilities and marketing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate may currently/formerly be a licensed loan officer or a processor. However, we are willing to consider someone who is eager and willing to learn the business.

Being adaptable and efficient is very important for this position. Organizational skills are essential for success in this position along with the ability to follow-up efficiently and keep track of your progress in a logical and organized manner. Attention to detail should be a natural skill of yours and handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment should be something you thrive on.

We are looking for a genuine team player who is excellent in communicating professionally with clients and following-through on tasks and assignments. You should be able to learn new skills and information needed to adapt to the ever-changing mortgage industry and have a self-motivated ability to “figure things out" along the way.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to -
Taking Applications and entering files/uploading documents into the database
Send out needs list to client
Follow up on needs list
Excellent tracking of the mortgage pipeline
Calculate income
Make sure closings happen on time
Pipeline Management
Client relations
Past client follow up
Realtor follow Up

Only apply if you want to be part of a fast paced mortgage team who really cares about their clients. This position is a full time in office position. Mortgage license is ideal but we are willing to consider candidates who are eager and willing to learn.

Think of it as your home’s secret stash of cash. This magical line of credit lets your home’s equity moonlight as collateral, giving you a pool of funds to play with. Sprucing up the kitchen? Go for it. Eyeing a down payment on a swanky new pad? Dive in. It is a great tool for any of these options. As always, please consult a tax consultant amount any income tax implications.

Deed fraud prevention

Hey, homeowners and future homeowners! 🏡 Listen up, because what I’m about to share is super important.

You know how you lock your doors at night? Well, you’ve got to lock down your property deeds too! Deed fraud is no joke, and I’m here to spill the tea on how to keep your property safe and sound. 📑🔒

One common example of Deed fraud is when a scammer forges the homeowner’s signature to transfer the property deed, then sells the property or takes out a mortgage. By the time the real owner realizes, the scammer is gone, and the owner is left sorting out a legal mess to reclaim their property

Here are my tips to prevent deed fraud:

1️⃣ Double-Check Records – Regularly review your property records to make sure everything’s on the up and up

2️⃣ Use a Trusted Title Company – Do your homework before you hand over the deed.

3️⃣ Alert Notifications – Some counties offer alert services that notify you of any changes to your property records

4️⃣ Be Alert for Scam Signs – If something smells fishy, it probably is!
