If you are thinking about applying for a new credit card, auto loan or mortgage, do yourself a favor and go Opt Out to try to avoid or at least minimize trigger leads.
Trigger leads are when your credit is pulled, and the credit AGENCIES (not the lender) sell your information to other financial institutions.
Go to this website, it just takes a couple of minutes and opt out.
