Today we recognize and celebrate Juneteenth National Independence Day—marking the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the freedom, resilience, and strength of Black Americans.
Let’s take time to reflect, learn, and stand together for equality, justice, and community.

Juneteenth Jubilee - Friday, June 19th from 2-6pm at Langston Hughes Community Center in Baltimore
Juneteenth Community Day: Honoring Opal Lee and Celebrating 100 Years - Friday, June 19th, at the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington, DC
Juneteenth Music Festival in Baltimore - Starting Friday the 19th through Sunday the 21st in Druid Hill Park
Annapolis Juneteenth Parade- Saturday, June 20th beginning at Noon which starts at St. John's College
Annapolis Juneteenth Festival - Saturday, June 20th at Bates Sports Complex 2pm - 9pm (with fireworks starting shortly after)
