"NABIP CEO Jessica Brooks Woods CEO, MPM, PHR was a guest speaker today at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) 2023 Fall National Meeting in Orlando, FL. Jessica spoke about healthcare costs across the entirety of our healthcare system. From the impact of rising healthcare costs on the ability to offer quality health plans to employers and individuals, to the true cost individuals pay when they utilize their health insurance by seeing a doctor.
She also discussed the crisis of Americans who are underinsured, who have insurance but are unable to use it and the impact it has on health outcomes, especially among people of of color.
