This past Wednesday L.A. County Sheriff Department re-arrested Johnny Mata, who is being held on a $2,065,000.00 bail for murder charges.
Mata a known gang member was mistakenly released from jail on April 4, 2013, where he was being held accused of the shooting murder of David Deanda on December 24, 2010.
Investigators had information that Mata was in Mexico and with the cooperation of Federal Authorities were able to apprehend Mata and return him to the U.S. late Tuesday.
Mata has a court appearance at L.A. Superior Court in Pomona this Thursday May 8, 2014.

Singer Chris Brown appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on May 1, 2014 with Attorney Mark Geragos, on probation violation charges related to him pleading guilty of assaulting his then girlfriend singer Rihanna. Brown was ordered by the Judge to remain in custody without bail until at least May 9, 2014.
