Med-Metrix is growing, and weโre looking for a dedicated Patient Account Representative to join our team. If youโre passionate about accuracy, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service within the healthcare revenue cycle, this role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

โข Manage collections, account follow up, and billing allowance posting
โข Communicate with payers via phone, email, fax, and online portals
โข Review and update patient and financial information with precision
โข Ensure accurate billing to primary insurers and patients
โข Monitor Medicaid/Healthy Options timelines and compliance
โข Identify underpayments, denial trends, and initiate appeals
โข Analyze payer issues and collaborate to resolve delays
โข Utilize Excel and multiple workflow systems (STAR, SMS, EAGLE, EPIC)
โข Maintain productivity, quality, professionalism, and confidentiality
โข Uphold HIPAA and Information Security standards
๐ฏ ๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐
โข High School Diploma required; Billing/Coding certification preferred
โข 2โ3 years of hospital/facility billing and insurance collections experience
โข Strong understanding of ICD 9/10, CPT, HCPC, UB 04
โข Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
โข Excellent communication, problem solving, and customer service skills
โข A proactive, detail oriented, and results driven mindset
