I am reaching out to share the heartfelt story of a remarkable 19-year-old nursing student who is facing an unimaginable challenge. This young woman is not only pursuing her dreams of becoming a nurse (PA) but is also the primary caregiver for her father, who is battling early onset dementia.
For the past couple of years, her father's health has prevented him from working, leading to financial strain and the impending threat of a foreclosure sale. The daughter has managed to secure a short sale approval for dad's home, a crucial step forward. However, selling the home leaves them in a predicament—where can her father go?
As a full-time nursing student, she cannot accommodate her father in her dorm room, and time is of the essence as the foreclosure sale approaches, and the short sale approval expires on January 31st, 2024. We urgently need your help to provide them with a stable living situation. The daughter is putting herself through college and will have to pay for the apartment. She just needs to get the startup costs of securing and renting an apartment for her and her dad.
