Thankful to be able to support worthy causes in our community.

Hands down one of the coolest events our chapter gets to do each year is the Dry Goods Drive. This 2nd year has been nothing short of awesome again! Combined A-P & D.N.H FFA Chapters brought in more than 750 items for local communities who need it so much. Items like toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, diapers, shampoos, dental hygiene products, & more were brought in. Huge THANK YOU to Parkersburg Tire, Brothers Market, Truax Insurance, Campbell-Mellema, A.P. Booster Club, & Koenen Trucking as MAJOR donators. What great businesses and even greater community of people willing to support those in need!

While I was distracted last week and this week with our remodeling project and my trip to Texas with my wife last week to drop a horse off, it gave me the opportunity to find another insurance tip of the week.

I actually have 2 for this week. A client was involved in an accident. So the first tip is always call the police and have them fill out an accident report, even if it is obvious who is at fault. The insurance company will try to interpret what happened rather than KNOW what happened. Also contact your agent ( if you have one as many people go on-line) and they will be able to walk you through the process. Remember they go through this weekly, and you may go through this once.

My second tip came to me while I was driving for 12 hours down to Texas. There are a lot of stupid people driving out there, so don't be one of them. Take your time, and look twice before changing lanes,as I felt like I was getting buzzed by fighter jets on the Interstate. That's it for this week.
