FROM: AOH DIVISION 32 - THEY NEED OUR HELP

The Summer Soup Kitchen/Barbecue will be held at St. Mary of the Lake at 4220 N. Sheridan Road on Wednesday, June 10. We will assemble meal bags at 4:00 and start grills and cook at 5:00. We will again need volunteers to help cook, serve and direct the crowd that day and/or provide meal bags or certain components to make up a meal bag. The meal bags consist of two sandwiches with no condiments, a drink, fruit, chips, cheese and a dessert or candy.

Please reply to John Moriarty at [email protected] to confirm if you will be in attendance at St. Mary of the Lake on June 10 and/or if you will be providing (XX) meal bags or some component of the meal bags (sandwiches, fruit, cheese, etc.) so we can make sure we have sufficient coverage that day and coordinate any preparation of the meal bags. If you can't attend, you can drop anything off the evening of the 9th or the morning of the 10th at John Resch's at 5146 W. Winona, Chicago 773-576-1794, Chicago or John Moriarty's at 636 N. Hamlin, Park Ridge 847-868-6740. If that doesn't work, give John M. or John R. a call for other arrangements.

Any additional personal donations are welcome to help with the increased expenses due to the surge in attendance recently at their Soup Kitchens (make checks payable to AOH #32 Charity in the memo area).

Thanks to all who can contribute in some way. Given the need, it's critical that we step up and show our continued support during the Easter season as we live up to our motto of "Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity".
