"Luminarias honor every life touched by cancer. You can dedicate them to a loved one lost, someone currently battling, or anyone who’s overcome it. When you attend a Relay event, you’ll see the Luminarias decorated with names and sometimes messages to the people they’re dedicated to.

After dark, Relay participants share an emotional moment when each Luminaria is lit in remembrance of a life touched by cancer. Together, we take a moment of silence to remember the loved ones they’re dedicated to. When you make a donation for a Luminaria, it helps fund the American Cancer Society’s mission to help save lives."

There is one more week to enter your child’s fish photo into our contest! TO ENTER, message your child's fish picture FROM THE WEEK (no old photos) to us on Facebook or Instagram. Submissions need to contain the following information:
• First and Last Name (we will not share publicly)
• Participant’s Age (we will not share publicly)
• Parent or Guardian who is sponsoring the entry and phone number to reach the party submitting the entry - for winner notifications only.
(No personal information will be shared on the Northwoods Bank page)
CONTEST RULES AND PARTICIPATION:
1. 4 weekly contests that run Saturday through Friday (with winners announced the following week)
2. One entry per child for the entire contest.
3. Kids 14 years and under are eligible to participate (parent or guardian of at least 18 years of age MUST be the submitting party for participant entries)
4. It is 100% FREE to participate in the contest.
5. Winners: A weekly winner will be chosen based on the best photo, not necessarily the largest fish, as voted on by Northwoods Bank's social media followers
6. Weekly Prizes: $20 Gift Card to a Local Business
7. Submissions should be messaged to Northwoods Bank by a parent or guardian 18+ via Instagram or Facebook with the following information:
-First and Last Name
-Participant’s Age
-Parent or Guardian phone number for winner notifications
*By submitting a photo you a) confirm you are a parent or guardian 18 or older submitting this photo on behalf of the child and b) you consent to Northwoods Bank posting this photo on our social channels for voting.
*No personal information will be shared on the Northwoods Bank page. Instead, photos will be assigned a number for voting to maintain personal privacy.
