Northwoods Wildlife Rescue, Inc. is our September Business of the Month!

Northwoods Wildlife Rescue, Inc was created after learning how few wildlife rehabilitators are available in Minnesota. As soon as they were licensed, they began to receive calls and animals from near and far, and people started to bring animals in need from all over. The business is a 501(c)3. The mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release wild animals back into the wild where they belong.

"We retired here because of family and a love of the community. We started the rescue because of a great need to help our wildlife here in the Northwoods. We are an all volunteer not for profit (501c3). We have no paid staff and really really great volunteers that help us save and assist the wildlife in need. The best thing about being in the Heartland lakes area is the people that make this a true and wonderful community."
