Sometimes it's hard to stay indoors when this is the view from the office.

One of the things we love about being located in Prospector Square is how many great places are within walking distance. Whether it's grabbing lunch, taking a quick walk, or just enjoying a beautiful Park City afternoon, it's hard to beat being part of this community.

This month we’re celebrating DaNita’s 31 year work anniversary with Bryan Daybell State Farm here in Park City.

DaNita was one of the original team members in the early days of the agency, and for more than three decades she has served our customers and supported our team with professionalism, dedication, and consistency.

Her experience and commitment have helped make this office what it is today, and we are grateful for everything she has contributed over the years.

Every Thursday we gather together as a team to talk about the week, check in with each other, and look ahead to the next one. Sometimes that includes an awkward group photo with our remote team member appearing twice on different screens, but honestly that just makes it feel more real.

One thing Bryan has always encouraged in the office is focusing on the positive. Insurance can be serious work, but having a team that supports each other, laughs together, and genuinely enjoys working side by side makes all the difference.

These weekly meetings have become one of the highlights of our Thursdays around here.

Marlene and I had the honor of attending the Farm Convention, and I’ll admit, it is one of those moments where I have to stop and take it all in.

After more than 25 years as a State Farm agent in the Park City area, I’m still grateful for the people, relationships, and opportunities this work has brought into my life. Being in a room with agents from across the country was a good reminder that while every community is different, the heart of this work is still people.

One of the best parts has been hearing new and innovative ideas on how to better serve the customers who rely on us back home. It’s exciting to see how much our industry continues to evolve.

Today we also got to watch one of our favorite late night talk show hosts perform, and he was every bit as funny in person as you would hope.

Marlene and I had the honor of attending the State Farm Convention, and I’ll admit, it is one of those moments where I have to stop and take it all in.
