After 21 years of service, Linda Smith has announced her retirement from First Federal Community Bank, SSB.
Smith will retire May 29th. She started work for First Federal in 2005 in the Customer Service Center and has remained in that position since.
Linda is married to her husband, Danny, and they have three children and nine grandchildren. Their son, Jeremy Smith, is married to Erin, and their sons are Tanner, Aidan and Preston. Their daughter, Shannon Cass, is married to Michael, and their daughters are Makina, Cora and Zoee. Their son, Cody Morris, is married to Kayle, and their children are Kinsley, Azlynn and Cason.
Linda and Danny are active members of Blossom Church of God where Linda has taught Children’s Church and children’s Sunday School classes over the past 40 years. She has also been involved with United Way, the Downtown Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels, World Vision and Compassion International.
“Linda has been a valued employee of the bank for over 20 years,” said Brad Meyers, President & CEO. “She has earned her retirement. We wish her well and know she will enjoy spending more time with her children and grandchildren.”
The bank will hold a retirement lunch in her honor soon where family, friends and coworkers will celebrate along with her.
