Hello Credit Union was established in 1952 as International Paper Employees Federal Credit Union. In 1976, our name was changed to Bay County Industrial Credit Union to reflect our expanded membership more adequately. In 1987, the name was changed again to Bay Credit Union when our field of membership was opened to virtually all residents of Bay County. In 2022, FLAG Credit Union joined the Bay Credit Union family through a member-approved merger. FLAG Credit Union was chartered in 1960 to serve the employees of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which Hello CU continues to do today!
