Choosing Original Medicare? Don’t forget about prescription coverage!

Original Medicare includes Part A and Part B, but it does not automatically include prescription drug coverage.

If you choose Original Medicare and do not enroll in a Part D prescription drug plan when you are first eligible, you could face a late enrollment penalty later on if you go without creditable drug coverage.

Even if you do not take many medications right now, having a Part D plan in place can help protect you from penalties down the road.

Met with a client today at one of my favorite local coffee shops, Techspresso, and finally tried the Chagaccino in a Doc’s Choice. I’ve been curious about the whole mushroom coffee trend, and I have to say, I definitely recommend it!

Coffee and insurance both feel like necessities some days. ☕️

I love getting to sit down with people in our community, answer questions, and help make insurance feel a little less overwhelming.
