Two clients. Two different decisions. Two very different outcomes.

Client 1: A few weeks ago, she rolled over her old 401(k) into an indexed account. The past 2 weeks, the markets took a hit dropping 10% or more. Had her money still been in the 401k, she would have felt that drop in real time. Instead her balance stayed intact. No losses. No stress. She immediately saw the value of protecting her retirement savings.

Client 2: About a month ago, we had multiple calls reviewing his retirement assets. A big chunk was in his company stock, which had already lost 50% over the past three years.
