On October 2, at AI & Digital Bridge 2026 in Astana, our team presented “The Next AI Frontier: Central Asia and the Caucasus in the Global Technology Shift”.
It is the first comprehensive study in the region. It assesses AI readiness across Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan through four dimensions:
▪️ Government policy and regulatory environment
▪️ Compute, energy, and digital infrastructure
▪️ Human capital and research capacity
▪️ AI adoption across the private sector
The study is built on a unique methodology. It combines structural ecosystem data with surveys of 650 startups and 103 companies, along with in-depth interviews with policymakers, investors, and industry experts.
