Small donations lead to a big difference. Our Blakeslee Branch Location, at 342 Route 940, is collecting non-perishable items for the Top of the Mountain Ecumenical Network Food Pantry located at The Five Loaf House at 133 Firehouse Road in Pocono Pines.

Our team will be accepting donations now through November 13th. Feel free to stop by with items that do not require refrigeration, like cans of soup, fruit, vegetables, stew, fish, beans, chili, meat, etc., pasta, nuts and nut butter, granola, rice, oatmeal and grains, spices, condiments, cooking oil, coffee, tea, and salad dressing (no baked goods, food prepared at home, glass containers, or open/expired/damaged items).

Drive-through distributions are held on the second Monday of the month and the Tuesday following. The pantry is currently open on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. until noon and on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. To view eligibility requirements, visit https://www.tomecpantry.org/.

Are you ready to help fight hunger and defend hope? From October 13th through November 13th, our Gilbert Operations Center (1256 Route 209) will be hosting a Food Drive benefiting the West End Food Pantry. As a non-profit, volunteer pantry, they rely on donations to feed 500+ families per month.

Donations that will make a difference include cans of soup, fruit, vegetables, stew, fish, beans, chili, meat, etc., pasta, nuts and nut butter, granola, rice, oatmeal and grains, spices, condiments, cooking oil, coffee, tea, and salad dressing (no items that require refrigeration, baked goods, food prepared at home, glass containers, or open/expired/damaged items).

The pantry is located at the Eldred Community Center in Kunkletown and is open the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. until noon. For more information on how to donate, visit https://www.westendpantry.com/donate/.

Help us stock pantry shelves and support local families in need! From October 13th through November 13th, our Egypt Branch in Old Post Plaza is hosting a food drive to benefit the Whitehall Food Pantry located at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on 3900 Mechanicsville Road in Whitehall.

Donations of non-perishable (no refrigeration needed) food items are accepted: cans of soup, fruit, vegetables, stew, fish, beans, chili, meat, etc., pasta, nuts and nut butter, granola, rice, oatmeal and grains, spices, condiments, cooking oil, coffee, tea, and salad dressing (no baked goods, food prepared at home, glass containers, or open/expired/damaged items).

Through community generosity and volunteer dedication, the pantry remains committed to helping neighbors with compassion and dignity. It is open by appointment only on Mondays from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and serves more than 165 families each month.

First Northern Bank and Trust is excited to be a Half Sleeve Sponsor of NorthBound & Co.’s 4th annual tattoo fundraiser, Flash Forward Ink to Impact! The event will be held Saturday, October 17th, at Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson, 110 Hill Motor Lodge Road in Tannersville. NorthBound & Co.’s mission is to cultivate a community that fosters pathways to recovery that are both sustainable and empowering. Although they primarily serve adults, the organization also offers directions and resource referrals to adolescents who need assistance.

This wonderful event, hosted in partnership with Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson and Famous Tattoo Works, brings recovery, community, and local partnership together for a day centered on connection and giving back. Activities will include tattooing, a sober motorcycle ride through the beautiful Pocono mountains, food, entertainment, and raffles.
