Here’s the lesson from this one: Sometimes the FIRST house is the right house.
My clients toured their first home…and then we went on to see 15 more homes.
After 16 houses, guess which one they decided they wanted?
👉 The very first one.

Fortunately, it was still available and we were able to put the deal together.
We also negotiated $15,000 in seller credit and shopped around for financing that worked with their goals and budget.
But here’s the important part:
We got lucky.
In a competitive market, a good home may not still be available after you’ve toured another 15 properties.
If a home checks your boxes, fits your budget and you love it, don’t be afraid to make the offer just because it’s the first house you’ve seen.

My brother is fighting the toughest battle of his life. After the mistrial, we’re all praying this is the beginning of the end and that the truth finally brings him home.

History has shown us that the system hasn’t always been fair, especially when Black attorneys stand beside innocent Black men. But my faith isn’t in the system—it’s in God. With God on our side, the truth becoming public, and so many people praying, I believe justice will prevail.

Life has a way of teaching you what to do, what not to do, and where your limits seem to be. My brother was the first person I ever saw do a one-arm pull-up. I honestly didn’t think it was possible because I’d never seen anyone do it. I tried years ago and couldn’t even come close.

Then, after the mistrial, Goal Mind reminded me of those days when we used to push each other in the gym. It brought back that memory.

So here’s my first one. It’s not perfect, but I’ll get better.

Thank you, brother, for teaching me that my limits are not my possibilities. You showed me that impossible is often just something we haven’t accomplished yet.

I’m still believing. I’m still praying. And I can’t wait for the day you walk through those doors and come home where you belong.

Love you, bro. We’ve got your back every step of the way. 🙏🏾❤️

Father’s Day done right. ❤️
