• LBL Mortgage/Palm Desert Reverse Mortgage is Licensed Mortgage Broker in the State of California www.bre.ca.gov

• When the loan is due and payable, some or all of the equity in the property that is the subject of the reverse mortgage no longer belongs to borrowers, who may need to sell the home

or otherwise repay the loan with interest from other proceeds.

• LBL Mortgage/Palm Desert Reverse Mortgage may charge an origination fee, mortgage insurance premium, closing costs and servicing fees (added to the balance of the loan).

• The balance of the loan grows over time and interest is added to the balance.

A set-aside account can be set up to pay taxes and insurance and may be required in some cases. Borrowers must occupy home as their primary residence and pay for ongoing maintenance; otherwise the loan becomes due and payable. The loan also becomes due and payable (and the property may be subject to a tax lien, other encumbrance, or foreclosure) when the last borrower, or eligible non-borrowing surviving spouse, dies, sells the home, permanently moves out, defaults on taxes, insurance payments, or maintenance, or does not otherwise comply with the loan terms.

• Interest is not tax-deductible until the loan is partially or fully repaid.

Palm Desert – Looking for Feedback (Women with Reverse Mortgages)

Hi neighbors, I’m a local broker/owner with Palm Desert Reverse Mortgage, and I’m working on a small research project to better understand how women shop for reverse mortgages. I’m specifically looking to hear from women who are single or widowed and currently have a reverse mortgage.

This is for research purposes only—your responses will remain completely private and will not be shared, sold, or used for solicitation.

If you choose to include your last name, property address, and email for verification, I’ll send you a $10 Amazon gift card as a thank you (please allow about 7 days for delivery). You’re also welcome to complete the survey anonymously, but compensation will only be provided if verification is included.

If you’d prefer to talk instead of filling out a survey, feel free to call or text me at 310-427-4797.

Thank you in advance for helping with this research—it’s truly appreciated.
